Rooms with the facilities are good for this reasonable price. Bathroom was decent, clean and with clean towels. Hotel is very well suitable for even longer stays. Hospitality is really good. We stayed here for five days and was satisfied.

We stayed in the family room of this hotel. Pros: Staff was courteous which was one of the few things I liked about this hotel. There were 2 queen size beds which could easily accomodate 4 people on bed and the room was big enough to accomodate some extra mattresses for more people if required. Very near to airport. Cons: The cutlery provided was little greasy. Linen seemed to be used atleast once, but since we checked in at 2am we didnt care frankly. Water was running from the commode jet. Half the tv screen was black, although the staff had called mechanic in the morning and said that it would be repaired in evening but we returned at night so it was as it is. The breakfast was not sufficient and its quality was not so great. 2 puri n sabji without any tea or coffee, I mean we have had better breakfast at different oyos for the same price. Overall you can get better hotel with same price.

I had not stayed here but preferred its front-located restaurant for food most of the time I passed through or stayed nearby in the area. It is never empty but there is no waiting period for getting your seat. Food is promptly served. It is famous for south-Indian dishes and I liked it too. One can get it packed to take home. It is not a costly eatery. This makes it accessible and affordable to all kinds of people.

This review is not for the rooms/stay but for the food at Hotel Venus's restaurant in the front. The restaurant still has dated 80s-90s feel. The south indian food is the most authentic you can find in Bhubaneswar. The prices are cheap.

Venus Heritage is a nice bungalow converted in to a hotel. Stayed here overnight on 11th April, and my experience was not pleasant. The room I stayed (room no 109), right in front of the reception had a bathroom which did not have any ventilation (no exhaust). The guy at the reception has no answer to any of your queries. Had to ask for water, towel, soap, shampoo. The breakfast is complimentary, but the hotel does not have a restaurant. After asking for the breakfast, the guy at the reception went out to a nearby restaurant and told me a list of options (Idli, Vada, Dosa, Upma, Poha) and I chose Upma. He came back after 20 minutes with a cardboard box containing poori and sabji. The room and toilet was very smelly. Overall a bad experience. It is a budget hotel and is understood. Having good maintenance of the property and having staff caring for customer would change the image of the hotel.
